A studio that actually ships.

Three iOS apps, a supplement brand, and every piece of content behind them — built and shipped from Sydney.

The work

Four products, all in public.

Everything the studio has built is on this page. Nothing here is a concept, a mockup, or a case study for work someone else did.

WhatsGen

Practice the conversation before you have it.

A WhatsApp-shaped chat where the other person is an AI persona. Social, dating, professional and language practice — and on iPhone the chat model ships inside the app, so replies are written on your device rather than on a server.

The Talking Game

Pass the phone. Answer honestly.

A party game for the people already in the room. One person is in the hot seat each round, the question is written by a human, and a shuffle bag means you never see the same one twice.

Mr. Chud

One honest log a day. Your mascot rots if you lie.

Log one real entry a day, an AI scores it out of 100, and a clay mascot visibly thrives or decays on a ladder your friends can see. Accountability that is embarrassing on purpose.

Withanly

Calm strength, daily.

A direct-to-consumer supplement brand on its own storefront — product, photography, copy, checkout and fulfilment. Domain bought on the Friday, storefront live on the Saturday — custom Next.js and Stripe, not a rented theme.

What the studio does

Three disciplines, one person deep in each.

Software

Native apps, shipped to the store

Three iOS apps built this year — two live, one in review, one of them also on Google Play. Swift and SwiftUI where the device matters, React Native and Expo where speed does, Supabase and RevenueCat underneath.

E-commerce

Storefronts we own end to end

Withanly went from a bought domain to a live storefront in a day, and now runs on a custom Next.js checkout with Stripe, express payments, and physical fulfilment — not a rented theme.

Social

The content that sells them

Every product gets its own account, and the same person shoots, edits and cuts the material for it — App Store galleries, faceless carousels, demo reels. The demo footage is the real app on a real device.

How we work

Ship it, then tell people.

  1. 01

    Build the smallest honest version

One mechanic, finished properly, in the hands of real users. Nothing ships behind a “coming soon” alert — if a feature isn't built, it isn't on the screen.

  2. 02

Put it in front of Apple

Store submission is the deadline that keeps a project honest. Screenshots, pricing, privacy, review notes — the unglamorous half of shipping is where most side projects quietly die.

  3. 03

    Make the content ourselves

The same person who built the feature films the demo. That's why the footage is real product and the claims match what the app actually does.

No download counts, no star ratings, no testimonials on this page — both live apps have zero ratings so far, and we would rather show you the product than a number we made up.

The studio

One person, four products.

Yap Studios is one person in Sydney. The same person writes the code, builds the store listing, shoots the screenshots, sets the prices and makes the content — for every product on this page.

Withanly's storefront went live in May 2026. The first app followed on 22 June.

Next

More of these are coming.

The fastest way to see what the studio does is to open one of the things it made. Both live apps are free to download.
